OPERA Solutions Announces Kentaro Harada as Chief Executive Officer

Fukuoka, Japan, April 1, 2021—OPERA Solutions, Inc., a university spin-off of contract research business in the field of organic electronics, today announced in the extraordinary general meeting that Dr. Kentaro Harada has been selected as Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Hin Wai Mo, who has been acting Chief Executive Officer for the last five months will continue working for OPERA Solutions as an R&D partner.

Harada has more than 20 years of R&D experience in the field of semiconductors and organic electronics, including a decade of strategic business development in industry and academia, most recently as Program Director and Research Professor at Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics Research (OPERA), Kyushu University.

Harada received an MSc in physics from Universität Leipzig and a PhD in physics from Technische Universität Dresden.
