Fukuoka, April 25, 2025: OPERA Solutions today announced signing of a consultancy service agreement on April 1, 2025 with SOAR CORPORATION (Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, CEO: Masatoshi Yamaki, hereinafter referred to as SOAR), a SAXA Group company that mass-produces OLEDs and provides services of custom device development and manufacturing.

With this agreement, OPERA Solutions will provide SOAR with support for the business development of organic electronic devices by utilizing its accumulated knowledge and personal network in the field of organic electronics. OPERA Solutions will assist SOAR in making effective use of SOAR's technological assets and acquiring new technologies.

SOAR has been continuously developing its technological advance in OLEDs for approximately 30 years since the world’s first successful mass-production of OLED displays in 1997. With a focus on OLED display devices, SOAR also provides one-stop solutions for Display System Integration Services —custom design and manufacturing contract services to accommodate customer demand, as well as Original Design Manufacturing (ODM)/Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) in a wide range of industrial and consumer categories.

OPERA Solutions provides contract research, including proof-of-concept, prototyping of next-generation organic–inorganic hybrid devices, consulting and proof-of-value of OLED/functional materials to accelerate customers’ product development. In August 2024, OPERA Solutions East Japan R&D Lab was established inside the SOAR building in Yonezawa City to deepen engagement with SOAR. Through collaboration with SOAR, OPERA Solutions wish to play an important role in product development and implementation of new technologies for organic electronics and thus wish to contribute to society.
